Summer Wetsuit

Summer wetsuits generally come in two thicknesses and various lengths. A full length summer wetsuit will cover the entire body including the arms and legs and will have 3mm neoprene in the body, 2mm on the arms and legs. This type of wetsuit is known as a 3/2mm summer wetsuit. There are also 3/2mm summer wetsuits which have the lower arms cut off to give better comfort on those warmer days. However, if you feel that your full length summer wetsuit is too warm you may want to invest in a 2mm short wetsuit. These wetsuits are basically 2mm all over and have the lower legs and arms cut off. The main body of the wetsuit helps keep the core body temperature warm while the arms and legs are exposed to the water which helps keep your temperature moderate instead of sweating like a pig.
