Looked at the surf this morning and wasnt impressed. Although the beach is a damn fine thing to wake up to, the surf was choppy, sloppy and small. The forecast for the weekend looks like some good westerly swell is coming our way. However, those nasty, strong SW and W winds will be around, which will blow everything out in good old Porthtowan.

Conclusion: The place to go will either be St Agnes, or the Bay in Newquay.
