Our favourite wetsuits (Entry Level)
We have been debating this for a almost a year now and we have finally come to a conclusion after testing various wetsuits from brands such as C-Skins, Billabong, O’Neill, Rip Curl, Quiksilver.
This year we have had the pleasure of testing out some really superb wetsuits and it has been a close call to pull out winners for each category, Entry Level, Mid Range and Top of the Range wetsuit. We judged the wetsuits on price, flexibility, durability, fit, quality and warmth. Here’s the first winner for the entry level category.
Entry Level (Price 90 – 140)
Winner Quiksilver Syncro
We liked this wetsuit for many reasons, but one of the main reasons was due to how Quiksilver squeezed so many great features into one wetsuit which costs no more than 140. The summer version of this wetsuit comes in at 130 and the winter version at 140.00. For this price you are getting a wetsuit which has the highest grade neoprene all over the wetsuit! We were amazed how well this wetsuit performed when it came to stretch and comfort. The wetsuit felt just as comfortable as the Quiksilver Cypher which is Quiksilvers top of the range wetsuit. The wetsuit comes with tight knit, woven lining of poly pro inside the chest panel which helps retain the core body temperature. So not only is this wetsuit more flexible than any other of its competitors entry level models it warm as well! We thought the features on the wetsuit would have to stop there for the price, but know Quiksilver have added a external key pocket as well.
We would highly recommend this wetsuit if you dont want to spend the earth, but still want a real top performing wetsuit!
