Headhunter sunscreen is a great way to keep the sun from damaging your skin when in the water. Most sun lotions or sunscreens run and make life in the water pretty unpleasant due to stinging and irritating the eyes. We have tested this stuff and we use it because we find that it doesnt run and provide really good protection against the sun. This small stick is perfect for traveling becuase its small but deliveres many applications.

We are a great fan of the Cypher wetsuit; its really light weight, flexible and warm. Quiksilver have basically given this wetsuit the extra warm factor by using materials which will retain your body heat by the method of insulation.
First off is the new Bio Fleece material which is located inside the wetsuit, this is made up from recycled bamboo and charcoal. These materials help to absorb less water which makes the wetsuit lighter and much warmer. The charcoal also helps to prevent bacteria build up when the wetsuit is dying out. The Cyphers neoprene is also made up with microscopic air pockets which help to insulate your body heat and maintain a nice toasty experience in the water. Also in the main panels there is more insulated air neoprene, these panels have notched air pockets which also make retaining heat even more efficient.
We think this is a great wetsuit, if you surf in cold water and feel the cold investing in this wetsuit would be well worth it.

Getting changed after surf can be a messy affair. If you get changed in a car park the chances are your wetsuit will get gravel and sand all over it. Obviously, all this dirt and gravel will not be good for the life of your wetsuit, and most wetsuits dont come cheap nowadays. Its always good to look after your wetsuit in any way you can.
Then theres the hassle of transporting your soggy wetsuit whilst travelling home from the surf. Wetsuits canpong a bit so its always good to have a bag which will contain both the moisture and smells. There are a few products on the market which make getting changed outdoors far more comfortable and also provide convenient storage of your soggy gear for the journey home. We will run through some of the products which we feel are the best on the market and why we rate them. All of the products reviewed we have used and tested.
Wetsuit Changing Mat & Sack – View all products here
These gadgets are great because they double up as a change mat as well as a sack to place all your wet equipment inside without any leaks or smells. Simply lay the mat on the floor and take off your wetsuit, leave it on the mat and pull the drawstring to close the mat around your wet stuff to form a sealed bag.

Our favourite wetsuit changing mat has got to be the FCS changing mat because it feels the most robust and we like how it has the side walls around the edge of the mat.
Dry bags are also a good way to store your wet equipment inside to stop leaks in the car and bad smells. These bags are also great for keeping things you dont want to get wet dry a secure. If you are sailing, or kayaking you may place your mobile phone and car keys inside and even if the bag was submerged in water it would float and keep what was inside dry!
We really like the Gul Dry Bag 50 Litres because it has a massive capacity and can hold a lot of stuff. Also it has back straps for easy carry and it is competitively priced.
