Again hand shaped in the famous Spider factory in South Africa the hydro X is still fantastic for UK waves, this is down to the generous width and volume ensuring your wave count goes through the roof, however where the Spider Bomb has a very flat rocker for that slidey skatey feel, the Hydro X has a more performance rocker creating more drive and control through turns. The width and volume in the shape is shifted back further toward the tail which will allow for tighter more radical turns.

Simply put the Spider Hydro X is a step up from the Spider Bomb in terms of performance and response. This more advanced refined shape will mean the Hydro X will handle bigger and more powerful surf without losing the wave catching benefits of the more playful Spider Bomb.
