This is the ULTIMATE small wave machine designed by Dan Mann. Dan say’s that “the outline is the most striking change from the status quo. The Sweet Potato dramatically changes the ratio between the length and width of a board but still allowing the design to perform at a very high level. While the outline and the volume obviously have a big impact, without the big changes in the rocker, bottom contour, fin placement and the flex characteristics of the stronger, lighter materials, the Sweet Potato would have limited performance as has been the case with these designs in the past”

One of the most noticeable design attributes that Dan has added is the aggressive bottom contour which creates a considerable amount of lift in the nose.The Deep double concave with a ‘spine’ in the middle, divides the board in half, isolating the fins, rocker and bottom on one side of the board at a time. This allows the board to get on rail quickly. The Sweet Potato will be the board you want in your car on every surf check. You’ll be praying for the small stuff!
