Back in the early days of ecommerce wetsuit shopping, people may have been put off buying a wetsuit online due to sizing issue. However, if you follow the steps below we are confident you will end up with a great fitting wetsuit when its delivered.
Before you add the wetsuit to the shopping cart and click the buy button, we would suggest weighing and measuring yourself precisely. It is very important for you to make sure the measurements are precise. If the measurements are out by a fraction this could mean your wetsuit doesn’t fit. The measurements you need are your height, weight and chest size, these are the main key measurements.
Now you have your key measurements, you need to view the brands sizing charts. Remember if two of your key measurements are out compared to the sizing chart; look at the next size up, or down. Just make sure that the key measurements aren’t too far out, this will indicate if the wetsuit will fit or not.
Based on the measurements provided below, this would indicate the best fit would be a Large. As you can see the chest measurement for the large is 0.5 inch out on the sizing chart, but the other two measurements are fine. If the user had chosen the LS, the wetsuit would be too short and if the LT was chosen the wetsuit would be too long and baggy.
